OJJDP Extends Deadline to Submit Nominations for Awards

As part of its 2011 National Conference, "Children's Justice and Safety: Unite, Build, Lead," the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) will recognize the efforts of individuals, organizations, and agencies that have significantly improved the juvenile justice system during the prior calendar year. The conference will be held on October 12–14 at the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center at National Harbor, MD.
During the conference, OJJDP will present awards in the following categories:
Nomination forms can be downloaded from the conference Web site. Each form contains complete information about the awards, including eligibility requirements and selection criteria. The submission deadline has been extended to August 29, 2011 . Direct questions regarding each award to the OJJDP staff listed within each nomination packet.
