The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) announces the availability of OJJDP News @ a Glance, November/December 2011. The bimonthly newsletter provides readers with news about OJJDP activities, publications, funding opportunities, and events.
This issue's lead article reports on ceremonies at the U.S. Department of Justice marking National Native American Heritage Month. The issue also includes special features on the following topics:
- OJJDP's fiscal year 2011 awards, which totaled $393 million.
- A public hearing held in Baltimore by the Attorney General's National Task Force on Children Exposed to Violence.
