OJJDP Bulletin Discusses Community Supervision of Underage Drinkers

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has released, "Community Supervision of Underage Drinkers."
The authors provide a theoretical overview on which to base policies, procedures, and practices that will help professionalsand their corresponding agencieseffectively supervise underage drinkers in the community. They also discuss the legal issues that professionals may encounter when working with these youth.
This bulletin is part of OJJDP's Underage Drinking series, which underscores the dangers of underage drinking and provides guidelines to assist communities in developing treatment and prevention programs.
