OJJDP Announces New Funding Opportunities

The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has announced the following funding opportunities:

  • Mentoring Best Practices Research. This program seeks to enhance what is understood about mentoring as a prevention and intervention strategy for youth who are at risk of involvement or already involved in the juvenile justice system. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. E.T., on February 19, 2013.

  • State Advisory Group Training and Technical Assistance Project. The State Advisory Group Training and Technical Assistance Project will provide training and technical assistance to state advisory groups (SAGs) appointed under the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDP Act) of 1974, as amended. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. E.T., on February 25, 2013.
