January Issue of NJJEC Bulletin Now Available

report coverThe National Juvenile Justice Evaluation Center (NJJEC), funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, has released the January 2013 issue of its newsletter "NJJEC Bulletin."

In addition to an annotated list of upcoming events, this issue includes articles on—

  • The role of control variables in program evaluation.
  • The MacArthur Foundation's Models for Change Knowledge Brief Series, which highlights effective practices in juvenile justice.
  • Chittenden County’s (VT) Rapid Referral program, which facilitates defendants' referral to substance abuse screening and treatment services at their pretrial arraignment.
