NC4YC Webinar To Explore Impact of Isolation on Youth in Confinement

On April 3, 2013, at 2 p.m. ET, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention’s National Technical Assistance and Training Center, in collaboration with the National Center for Youth in Custody, will present the Webinar “The Impact of Isolation Practices in Confinement Facilities.” Presenters will discuss the impact of solitary confinement on youth and its counterproductive effects in controlling behavior. This Webinar also will examine the challenges that facility administrators face in addressing this issue and highlight opportunities for reform.
