Applicants Sought for Diversion Initiative for Justice-Involved Youth With Behavioral Disorders

January 31, 2014

The Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation encourage states to apply for their Improving Diversion Policies and Programs for Justice-Involved Youth With Behavioral Health Disorders: An Integrated Policy Academy-Action Network Initiative. Successful state applicants will receive technical assistance to help them develop or improve policies and practices that divert youth with behavioral health needs from the juvenile justice system to appropriate community-based programs and services. The initiative will focus on school-based and probation-intake diversion strategies. The application deadline is February 28, 2014.
