Additional Information:
This two-day training, sponsored by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), is designed to introduce newly assigned police officers, or those with limited experience with youth, to the fundamental investigative skills, tactics, and procedures that result in an effective interview or interrogation of a juvenile. This course uses highly interactive exercises to develop skills in analyzing youth behavior, developing.

Priority is given to law enforcement officers (i.e. first responders, school resource officers, patrol officers, detectives). While all officers may find value in this training, it is best suited for officers with limited experience in interviewing and interrogating juveniles.
