The three-day training program is designed to highlight practice and policy models for resolving racial and ethnic disparities and disproportionate minority contact (DMC) in juvenile justice.
The symposium will address developing and acting upon an effective DMC assessment, State Advisory Group leadership in DMC, addressing the school-to-prison pipeline, cultural adaptations of evidence-based practices, serving crossover youth and much more. Special joint sessions will also involve the OJJDP State Training and Technical Assistance Center. |
