- After an increase throughout the 1980s, the juvenile male arrest rate for forcible rape declined continuously between 1991 and 2010, falling 62%.
- Females constitute a small share of juvenile arrests for forcible rape. In 2010, just 2% of all juvenile arrests for forcible rape involved a female.
