A: Property Crime Index arrest rates were lower in 2010 than in 1980 for persons under the age of 30.

  • The only age group with higher Property Crime Index arrest rates in 2010 than in 1980 were adults between the ages of 30 and 54.
  • For all juvenile age groups, Property Crime Index arrest rates in 2010 were well below the levels in 1980.
